Walter Lantz Presents

Introduced in 1985 by Universal/MCA Home Video, the "Walter Lantz Presents" series proved to be a success not only with average consumers but with animation fans alike. With the advent of Woody Woodpecker's 50th birthday in 1990, two additional tapes were added to the series under the banner Woody Woodpecker: The Collector's Edition. The series was discontinued during the late 1990s.
MAN'S BEST FRIEND

"Helter Shelter"
"Man's Best Friend"
"Dog Tax Dodgers"
"Private Eye Pooch"
"Crazy Mixed-Up Pup"
"Swiss Miss-Fit" (TV print, edited)
"Dig That Dog"
"Get Lost! Little Doggie"

Note: Although the package boasts that each short is "complete and uncut, just as it was originally created," this tape contains an edited TV print of "Swiss Miss-Fit". Gone are all the times Chilly pours the keg of booze down the dog's throat. The entire scenes aren't removed, just the actual booze pouring. Click here to see an image from the original.

WILD & WOODY

"Puny Express"
"Stage Hoax"
"Hot Noon"
"Pistol Packin' Woodpecker"
"Panhandle Scandal"
"Wild and Woody"
"Woodpecker Wanted"
"Short in the Saddle"

THE WORLD OF ANDY PANDA

"Under the Spreading Blacksmith Shop"
"Goodbye, Mr. Moth"
"Apple Andy"
"Andy Panda's Pop"
"Crow Crazy"
"The Wacky Weed"
"Nutty Pine Cabin"
"Meatless Tuesday"
"The Poet and Peasant"

WOODY WOODPECKER: THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION: VOL. 1

"Woody Woodpecker"
"Born to Peck"
"The Redwood Sap"
"Banquet Busters"

NOTE: The version of "The Redwood Sap" included on this compilation has, for some reason, two scenes in the wrong order. Woody's alarm going off and him stealing the beavers' food was supposed to take place after the squirrel's warning and Woody's tummy grumbling.

WOODY WOODPECKER: THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION: VOL. 2

"Well Oiled"
"Ace in the Hole"
"Arts and Flowers"
"The Coo-Coo Bird"
